The Jordanian American Physicians Association JAPA represents a large number of Jordanian physicians in the United States. During a meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein in New York city in May 2022, His Majesty discussed the issues and challenges facing Jordanian physicians that prevent them from returning to their homeland, Jordan. One of these challenges is the Jordanian board certification. Therefore, His Majesty issued law number 17 (Jordanian Medical Council law), which was approved by the Jordanian Parliament in September 2022. This law aims to encourage the reverse migration of Jordanian talent and facilitate their return to serve their country.
Now JAPA is offering a new service to help it’s members to do their board equivalency easily and effortlessly
