JAPA started as an initiative by Jordanian Physicians practicing in the US. Having gone through the process of medical education, residency, fellowship and practicing, we understand the mounting challenges that might lay in the road. The Charity Committee aims to ensure that underprivileged and promising medical students and physicians have access to help them graduate and provide opportunities to pursue specialty training. We also aim to provide aid and support to the medical sector in Jordan through fundraising campaigns to help with unmet needs.
The objective of the medical students and post graduate loan program is to establish a sustainable fund to provide interest free loans to support medical students continue their medical education, achieving full academic potential and excellence. The fund will pay tuition fees, certification exams and other related expenses. The aid amount will be determined based on the fund’s resources and the applicant’s financial needs. At JAPA, we believe that investing in future physicians is key to improving the medical and academic sector in Jordan and we are committed to work hard to achieve that goal.
